Aten Solution Day

An annual event, the ATEN SOLUTIONS DAY this year saw new product showcase as well as an introduction to Aten’s vision and direction in the coming year. Multiple companies were invited to this exclusive event, and ESCO was on the guest list.

Some key highlights from the event were the Videowall, Control systems and AV over IP solutions from Aten.

VIDEO WALL

Aten has a wide range of switchers to create the videowall of your choice – we could have many displays working together as one big screen. Many of Aten’s switchers have been upgraded to fully support 4K so as to enhance the appearance of the graphics on the screens.

CONTROL SYSTEMS

A few years back, Aten introduced a new range of products; control processors. These help to create room automation where required, from small Meeting Rooms to Board Rooms or even Town halls and Lecture theatres.

A highlight from the event is the Aten Control Assist Software, this software (installed on a Windows PC), makes the communication between the Aten control processor and the PC possible.

For example, we will be able to start videos or Power Point Presentations (hosted on the PC) from the Aten Control System via an iPad or other mobile devices. Also, some new Keypads (Buttons Controller) to be integrated with the control processors for environments where simple instructions are required were introduced.

AV OVER IP

Starting as an IT company, Aten has now join the trend of AV over IP showing their encoders and decoders. These will be seated on the same network and with the help of their web-based software (hosted on each encoder/decoder), users or administrators can configure and route the Audio and Video signals via network.

During the showcase, many relevant and useful products were shared. There were signal extenders, network access points, PoE switchers, wireless presentation devices, etc.

In all, the ESCO team had an enjoyable time at the Aten Solution Day and we would like to thank the organizers for inviting us to this event.
