Aside from these technology sharing, our team shared their personal thoughts on the ISE:

Christopher Lim, General Manager of ESCO Singapore

What was the biggest highlight of the event?

I would say the Collaborative boards, AV over IP solutions and all-in-one meeting presentation devices were all the rage during ISE. You would really have to delve deep and study all these products to understand their specific strengths and shortcomings, which was really fun for me.

Is this your first ISE visit? Could you share with us about your experience? If not, how was this different in comparison to your previous visit?

This was only my second visit. Years ago, ISE was really a pure AV show but now you can see a lot of audio manufacturers who have their roots in the entertainment sector exhibiting. Indeed you also see the odd entertainment lighting booth! You can also see a change in their product lines which deviates from their traditional offerings. QSC are perhaps the best example of this.

Which particular booth captured your attention, why?

LG. Their booth was such a visual experience and they really proved a display is not just a display.

Vincent, Project Sales Manager of ESCO Indonesia

What was the biggest highlight of the event?

In my opinion, there were a few, such as AV over IP video distribution, 4K Laser Projectors, soft codec conferencing system, etc. All of which were most interesting and exciting.

Is this your first ISE visit? Could you share with us about your experience?

This is my first ISE visit which is a fruitful one, where I get to learn about the latest technologies and market trends in AV.

You can see that the product / solutions showcased such as projection mapping, immersive projection, curved display, interactive are aimed to improve customer experience and engagement. Also all-in-one solutions for BYOD which combine video conferencing, presentation, and other features were all very exciting.

Which particular booth captured your attention, why?

Epson, with their showcase on cool projection mapping on vertically mounted F1 car.
