Class & ESCO Partner to provide teaching & learning tools.

WASHINGTON & SINGAPORE, [28th April 2022] – Class Technologies, the teaching and learning tools company, and ESCO, a regional technology provider of audiovisual (AV) solutions and video conference systems, have entered into a partnership that allows organizations across the Asia Pacific region to easily incorporate Class’s technologies.

Operating across Southeast Asia, ESCO has offices in 13 countries and is headquartered in Singapore. As a leading systems integrator in the region, ESCO delivers workplace and collaboration technology solutions, to a wide range of clients across the region. Now, as an Expert Partner in Class’s Partner Program (Classmates), it has added Class Technologies teaching and learning solutions to its portfolio.

Class is a software developed by Class Technologies Inc., a company founded by education software pioneer Michael Chasen. Class adds teaching and learning tools to Zoom and makes the virtual classroom feel like a real classroom. It helps instructors take attendance, hand out assignments, give a quiz or test, grade work, proctor exams, talk one-on-one with a learner, and more. Class is headquartered in Washington, DC with staff around the world.

Now, through the Class and ESCO partnership, these tools are more accessible to organisations in the APAC region looking to improve the way they communicate. Even prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, companies were already quite familiar with Zoom and its capabilities. However, Zoom has become a very popular tool for interactions of all kinds—including workplace training. With Class, companies are empowering and training their managers in a virtual classroom setting – without ever having to leave Zoom. Class transforms the typical company-based Zoom training and development experience into a virtual, interactive environment.

As well as making the solution itself more accessible, the partnership also means that customers who install Class’s in the region have access to locally provided service and support from ESCO.

Christopher Lim, Director and General Manager at ESCO, said, “We are very proud to be a strategic partner of Class which, we view to be a cutting-edge solution for the education market and, we believe it will bring a lot of value to our existing, as well as, our new clients in this space.”
