ISO 9001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications

ESCO is proud to share our achievement of having been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications after voluntarily upholding to the ISO and OHSAS standards; which requires an independent assessment of our management systems.

ISO 9001:2015

The ISO 9001:2015 is a certification for operating with a quality management system based on standards developed by the International Organization for Standardisation (ISO). This was a conversion of our ISO 9001:2007 to the ISO 9001:2015 certification.

OHSAS 18001:2007

The OHSAS 18001:2007 is a certification of an organization’s Occupational Health and Safety Management System by the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS). This was a new certification for ESCO.

The journey towards our certifications has been a delightful learning experience; one of reminder and redirection. For us to be compliant, ESCO went through a year-long evaluation and certification process. The conversion of ISO 9001 provided the perfect opportunity for the Management and the team to review our quality management system which focuses on mitigating potential risks to our operations and partners while establishing processes for continuous improvement in the future ahead. The OHSAS 18001 certification was new for ESCO as it was our first Safety and Health related certification governed by international standards. To meet the requirements of OHSAS, our Risk Management and Safety team came up with detailed processes and manuals to manage and control health and safety risks at work. It was with the hard work and commitment of all members of ESCO that we have been certified.

Continuous improvement has been a key focus of our operations and these certifications reflect our ongoing effort as well as our unwavering commitment to safety, quality and excellence for our team, partners and clients.
