Even the covid status is unpredictable, online studying nowadays becomes familiar with all Vietnamese students. Students, Parents and Teachers can easily access online learning applications like Zoom, Teams for connections, learning and educating purposes. To make the online class more interesting, teachers require to innovatively apply new technology in class. Therefore, ESCO AV Vietnam would like to introduce new flexible technology in education – ELMO Visualizer – a famous brand name from Japan.
ELMO is one of the world’s oldest leading projector brands, which includes ideal visualizers for online classes. With the flexible functions, it can be used both inside and outside the classroom to improve teaching quality.
Let’s check how can ELMO Visualizer be used in education here:
Things you’ll need:
- Portable Document Camera
- Laptop, Chromebook or tablet with USB input
- Internet Access (a phone hotspot will work)
- Your Choice of leaves
Step 1 – Turn on your display device and ensure that it is connected to the internet. Then plug your document camera into the USB port of your device (other output ports can also be used if your camera has them).
Step 2 – Open your favourite internet browser and navigate to Image Mate + C
Step 3 – Ensure that the document camera image is selected in Image Mate + C by looking at the drop-down menu in Image Mate + C, if your document camera is not selected click on the drop-down menu and select the correct camera, in this case, we’ll be using the MX-P2 (MX-1/MX-P on the drop-down).
Step 4 – Place leaves, nuts or other fall-themed objects under the document camera and use the pen tool in IM+C to annotate as you enjoy the outdoors with your students.
*Note: IM+C can also be used with your favourite collaboration software to teach in remote learning environments.
